Where to find the cheapest car tyres

The biggest part of the budget of drifters is usually their tyre budget. Saving money on this is always good. Thats why we have put together some places where you can find some cheap tyres.

1: Marktplaats/ebay
Who cares if your tyres are used already? No one is gonna notice the difference when you burn them. What if the tyres you found on auction sites still have two thirds of thread left and only cost one third of the original price? Thats some profit for you. Sometimes these sites even have new tyres that are going out of production or some older tyres for a really low price. Another advantage is that you can find the right tyres in your area so you do not need to drive that far.
2: google
Google is your friend. It might be worth while to search for "used tyres" and the place you are living. There is a big chance that you might find some wholesalers that deal in used tyres. Big chance you will find what you need there.
3: Scrapyards
Scrapyards are not the first place people will look when people are looking for drift tyres. Thats a shame, because you should not expect that every set of tyres at the scrapyard is worn out. Just pay attention as some scrapyard owners would not like you to buy tyres without wheels. However, this is purely dependent on the type of scrapyard. Some make a fuss about it, the others don't.
4: autobandenmarkt.nl
If you have a bit bigger budget its worth while to check out this site, you can sort every brand you need and look for the cheapest tyres. You can even install them at one of their partners.

5: Germany
Do you live near Germany? Well good for you, because the German rules are more strict than the Dutch ones. Therefore you can buy some worn out tyres according to the german standard for a few quid and drift them for a while. This can always be used to your advantage.
