5 cheap drift mods.

As drifting is expensive enough we will discuss 5 cheap modifications for your drift car. There are cheap modifications, such as weight reduction and adjusting the tyre pressure, but we will only focus on cheap parts to modify your drift car.

Steering spacers
Steeringspacers are one of the cheapest mods you can do. You can get them for around 20 euros aat your local tuner shop and they are a great way to get more lock. For more information about them, read this article.

Driftbutton
In case you need some more, you can also get a drift button. This handbrake button is different from the original button as when you press it, it will stay press, untill you get it back in its old position. Because of this, the handbrake will drop right away when you take off your hands instead of having to keep the button pressed untill it is down. Therefore you can make some quick reactions with your handbrake.

Cheap tyres.
As we had already told you in this article, there are several ways to get some drift tyres for a low price. The one way is cheaper than the other, but every penny counts.

Drift steering wheel
Going for a drift steering wheel is also an option. Dont think this is a steering wheel that improves your drift skills or something. A drift steering wheel is nothing more than a round steering wheel. This makes drifting easier, as you can let the steeringwheel slip through your hands easier. In addition they are wrapped with alcantara so you will have more grip and they are deeper for a better steering position, allthough the last one depends on the driver.

Welded diff.
Drifting a low powered car with an open differential is not really an option. Its possible, but not how you would like to have it. Welding your diff is a cheap way to make your car go sideways better. How to do that has already been discussed in this topic.
