Shorts: Does it matter if you use a different type of oil in your diff when drifting
Yes, there is a difference. Using slippery oil the plates will be having less friction and because of this everything will be a bit smoother and your plates will have a longer life. If you go for thicker oil, like a non lsd oil without friction modifiers then your differential will lock sooner and be louder (you will really notice a difference when you are running an agressive diff used for drifting.) Except for this your plates will will not last that long but as you are drifting anyways you will not notice that much of a difference in durability.

The great switch part 1: V8 swaps
A few years ago the muscle cars and the imports were two different worlds. Switching parts would have been complete and utter blasphemy.
